About accommodation

1. Cottage/apartment is reserved to you from 16:00 on the day of arrival to 12:00 on the day of departure. There is silence between 22:00 and 08:00 in apartment buildings.
2. In case of a problem regarding the cottage/apartment, complaints must be addressed to the caretaker or to Ruka-Ko as soon as possible.
3. Cleaning and bed linen are not included in the rental price. You can bring your own bed linen or hire some from the Ruka-Ko office. The charge for a one-person set is 10 euros. The cleaning charge is 50-130 euros depending on the size of the cottage/apartment.
4. If you want to bring pets to the cottage/apartment, please notify Ruka-Ko about this in advance. Pets are not allowed in beds or on furniture.
5. Cottages/apartments are NO SMOKING areas. Please do not use ski boots inside the cottage/apartment.
6. Please note that when you use the sauna some of the radiators will switch off automatically. The radiators are switched on again automatically when you switch the sauna off.
7. Please note that you are required to leave the cottage/apartment in good condition when you depart. The cottage/apartment as well as the yard are to be cleaned and all litter is to be removed.
8. Car parking is allowed only in designated parking areas. Keep the yard roads open for maintenance and emergency vehicles.
9. The clients are obliged to cover all damages caused during the rental period. If something is damaged, please inform Ruka-Ko office as soon as possible. In case of a disturbance, contact the police (tel. 10022).
10. Cottage/apartment keys are to be returned to the office on the day of departure. If the office is closed, you can return the keys to a grey metal box by the office door. The text on the box reads RUKA-KO AVAINTEN PALAUTUS.

Cleaning note (if you have not booked cleaning)

1. Hoover the floors and carpets. Mop the floors.
2. Carry the bedding and carpets out and let them air.
3. Wipe the kitchen units and tables etc.
4. Clean the toilet, tap, and the sauna area with a disinfectant.
5. Clean the fridge and take away the foodstuffs that you have brought in. Clean the microwave. Wash the dishes and clear out the dishwasher.
6. Take the rubbish to the rubbish bin. Take also newspapers and magazines away.
7. Clean the ashes from the fireplace.
8. Check that the windows are closed before you leave.
